Canadian Tire offers competitive compensation packages including; benefits, potential for profit sharing, extensive training, and career opportunities from within and across the country at the Canadian Tire Retail stores.Responsibilities Include:Working 40 hours per week - shift work - must be able to work weekendsWorking in our auto service departmentHelping customers that walk inAnswering phonesExplaining to customers what repairs are needed on their vehicle and what to recommend for themLiaison between the mechanics and customers to make sure everything is dealt with properlyMaintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service at all timesMust be comfortable with computers - will be pricing out parts and labor, writing up repair orders and creating estimates for customersUsing a point of sale system for payments (computer cash register) Qualifications:Able to work independently and as a member of the teamHigh school education, or current enrollment in high schoolAble to lift at least 25lbs and be comfortable bending, lifting, kneeling, and using laddersExperience in a retail setting would be highly desirableA passion for the community in which you live, or experience volunteering would be an assetPassion for vehicles and the automotive industry.
