Unspecified We are presently seeking a full time Warehouse Operations Technician for our Renfrew, Ontario location. This position is responsible for the handling and processing of goods received and shipped by the company and the maintenance of all related records.ResponsibilitiesTrack and help drive completion of key deliverables and follow-up on outstanding itemsRequired to accept deliveries of goods into the company and verify deliveries with attached shipping manifests, bills of lading or purchase ordersWrap, package or crate goods for shipment and ensure completion and attachment of addressee information, packing slip(s), shipping manifests and or bill of lading. Record shipping activities and arranges for appropriate carrier or courier pick-upAdhere to all guidelines relative to company policies and customers’ requirements, applicable national and international government regulations such as transportation, transportation of dangerous goods, import/export, customs and environment health and safetySupport the development, implementation, and adoption of streamlined processes in support of existing document control and quality management proceduresSupport the training and development activities of team membersEnsure documentation is distributed to applicable personnel and all entries are recorded in a timely mannerMaintain, put away and pick accuracy targets as determined by the programParticipate in continuous improvement activities and customer requirements initiativesGenerate inventory transactions and maintain inventory control procedures including receiving, material issues and cycle countsWhen applicable, work with the program office to coordinate the creation and release of work orders to the production floorOther duties as assignedRequirementsMinimum of high school graduation diploma or equivalent training and/or work experience2-4 years of warehousing experiencePossession of valid driver’s licenseAbility to be on-call on a rotating basis, work alternating shifts and possible overtime in order to meet customer requirementsIntermediate knowledge and use of a PC based computer system with experience on software applications such as WORD, EXCEL, and OutlookStrong interpersonal and organizational skills with effective time managementStrong communication (verbal and written) and customer service (internal and external) skillsAbility to prioritize and complete a high volume of tasks with a high level of organization and accuracyCapable of lifting up to 50 poundsExperience working with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems (such as SAP or Oracle) would be an assetInventory management experience would be an assetPrevious forklift experience would be an assetUnderstanding of Transportation of Dangerous Goods is an assetRaytheon Canada Limited offers competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package.The successful candidate will be required to complete a criminal background check and obtain/maintain a Government of Canada security clearance and any applicable clearances with respect to the handling and transfer of controlled goods.The salary range for this role is 44,000 CAD - 80,000 CAD . The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
