If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy both technical and customer-facing work, we want to hear from youAs a QA and Application Support Analyst, you will- Lead and manage smoke and regression testing for applications- Triage, prioritize, and assign incoming help desk requests- Develop and execute manual and automated test cases, scripts, and plans- Establish and improve QA methodologies and tools for defect management- Analyze risks related to defects and security issues- Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate support levels- Communicate effectively with technical and business teams- Provide regular updates to stakeholders and executives- Stay current with QA best practices and industry trendsThe experience we like to see- Post-secondary degree or diploma in IT or related field- 3+ years of software testing experience- 3+ years in an IT-related customer service role- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and QA best practices- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills- Proficiency in Microsoft Office- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Microsoft Azure DevOps and Business Intelligence- UATBonus Points- BSc in Computer Science- 5+ years in QA, with at least 3 years in testing and IT support- Experience with ERP & CRM systems (especially Microsoft Dynamics 365)- Strong report writing and documentation skills- Experience with Data Quality programs and/or a BI platform (PowerBI)Who You’ll Work With- Business Analysts- Project Managers- Development & Web Teams- IT Operations- BI Data Specialists- CIO and Director of IT- Key stakeholders across departments Apex Systems is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
