Job Summary The Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) provides a professional service in laboratory analyses and interpretation all areas of Pathology.The MLT contributes to the hospital’s goal of shockingly excellent service by providing accurate and timely results in a manner consistent with professional standardsThe MLT is a technical resource to staff, physicians, internal and external customers. Qualifications • Graduate from a recognized Medical Laboratory Technology program and CSLMS certification as a General MLT• 30 hours of continuing education credits every year as per CMLTO• Member in good standing with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario (CMLTO)• Demonstrated excellence in communication, both written and verbal• Demonstrated problem assessment skills• Demonstrated commitment to customer service and teamwork• Demonstrated individual leadership skills Regular and reliable attendance is an expected requirement of this position.
