Job Description My Optimal Health Clinic in Yorkton is seeking a family physician to join their team of one family physician and one Psychiatrist. The clinic is modern, staffed and located directly across from the Yorkton Regional Health Centre.  The successful candidate will work as a fee for service physician in the clinic and have the opportunity to participate in the regional services such as emergency room, hospitalist, baby doctor, long term care, etc. Relocation Package The successful candidate may be eligible for The , which provides financial reward to physicians who practice in the province for extended periods ranging from $3,500 - $7,000 Job Qualifications The successful candidate must be a team player, be able to interact effectively with patients, colleagues, staff and management and be committed to providing high quality patient and family centered care Certified or eligible to be certified with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) Regular or Provisional License with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS) (or eligible to be licensed) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification Recommended - Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Valid driver’s license Successful Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) credentialing including but not limited to acceptable reference checks and criminal record check with vulnerable sector Current Canadian Medical Protective Association coverage Legal entitlement to work in Canada Benefits The SMA provides members with various , each with its own criteria and features.
