Laboratory experience includes hematology, chemistry, coagulation, urinalysis, specimen collection, preparation and referral. Recent cardiology experience including ECG and Holter Monitor techniques. The ability to effectively communicate in English. Good organizational and communication skills. Ability to work independently and promote good teamwork. Demonstrated initiative, good judgment, and attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure and in emergency situations. Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload and adapt to stressful situations using tact and diplomacy. Ability to demonstrate good customer service skills in dealing with patients, staff, and physicians. Practices effective radiation protection, infection control, and safety techniques as applicable. Proficient computer skills. Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification. Ability to interpret, explain and apply applicable legislation, standards, policies and procedures.
