A day in the life of a Deli Clerk: Love cooking? Our Deli clerks play an important role in ensuring our customers always are able to find the freshest hot and ready to eat meals that Safeway offers. Food Safety is a top priority to our customers and all of our Deli employees do their best to uphold the highest standards that are in place. Full training is provided for this position.
