Position Title: Physiotherapist Status: Full-Time Reports to: Clinic Manager Hourly Range: Splits of 50/50 range window $60 to $135 Location: North Vancouver, Langley and/or Surrey Clinics iScope Concussion & Pain Clinic is a specialized treatment and assessment centre offering a range of services and treatments with several locations across Canada. Our clinics use a variety of diagnostic tools to identify the root cause of a patient’s pain. Our team of highly skilled Physicians and Allied Health Professionals work together and provide a personalized treatment plan so our patients can feel better sooner. We are committed to helping patients manage their pain effectively and improve their quality of life, in addition to a seamless and positive healthcare experience while providing a high standard of care. ROLE SUMMARY iScope Concussion & Pain Clinics is seeking a dynamic individual with strong interpersonal skills to join our team as Physiotherapist. The incumbent will work closely with our specialist physicians and healthcare practitioners in coordinating and assisting in various aspects of clinical operations and practices. The Physiotherapist will provide direct support to our patients and be responsible for following up on all physician recommendations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: · Conduct thorough assessments of patients with concussions and pain conditions to determine their physical abilities, limitations, and treatment needs. · Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including assessment findings, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries. · Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes. · Develop individualized treatment plans based on the assessment findings, incorporating evidence-based techniques and approaches for concussion management and pain rehabilitation. · Provide case management support to clients requiring the coordination of multiple services. · Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals, including physicians, neurologists, psychologists, and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients. · Stay updated on the latest research, techniques, and advancements in concussion management and pain rehabilitation, and integrate this knowledge into clinical practice. · Adhere to ethical and professional standards, maintaining patient confidentiality and providing respectful, patient-centered care. EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE: · Master's Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent · Member in good standing and professional membership with the College of Physical Therapists of British Columbia COMPETENCIES, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: · Compassionate and dedicated to providing the highest quality of care to patients in collaboration with other team members. · Motivated in professional growth and learning. · Efficient in time management with strong organizational skills · Vestibular or concussion background an asset · Excellent written and verbal communication skills · Knowledge and competency in maintaining confidentiality of client information according to FIPPA and PHIPA legislation. · Respond to new client inquiries in a timely manner and provide an overall excellent level of customer service. · Strong knowledge of community resources · Demonstrated ability to relate to clients in ways that build confidence and trust · Able to work in a highly diverse community with individuals from varied backgrounds and a variety of age groups, presenting with a range of difficulties and personal issues · Good judgment, sensitivity, flexibility, discretion, and resourcefulness · Ability to communicate effectively with staff and senior administrators about issues facing individuals in crisis and make recommendations. iScope Concussion and Pain Clinics is committed to providing accommodation for people with disabilities.
