Branch Operations Manager

Job DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?RBC Dominion Securities is currently seeking a licensed Branch Operations Manager to assist in the daily operations of the Pointe-Claire and Gatineau branches. You will fulfil a leadership role by providing operational and administrative support to the Branch Director and to the advisory teams. In addition to managing client account activities and ensuring compliance standards are met, you will also supervise branch staff, liaise with internal departments, provide software and process-related training, and manage the branch facilities and equipment.What will you do?Implement Branch Director's directives and ensure the branches are efficiently and effectively managedManage the daily administrative operations of the branches, including the approval of all incoming and outgoing daily transactionsAssist with training new branch support staff and coordinate ongoing training initiatives for existing branch staffEnsure compliance and internal control requirements are metVerify and approve all outgoing assets, cheques, and bank wiresVerify and action all requests submitted by sales support staff through the internal workflow business application systemVerify documentation and approve account openingsWhat do you need to succeed?Must-haveBilingualism (English and French) required, as you will regularly serve our clients and do business with RBC partners and/or employees across Canada with English and French speaking needsCompletion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and the Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH), preferably already approved by CIROMeticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skillsAbility to work efficiently, multi-task, and maintain professionalism in high-pressure environmentsKnowledge of the firm’s operations, policies, and procedures regarding client accounts, including internal controlsWhat’s in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
