Physiotherapist

QUALIFICATIONS:Education, Training And ExperienceGraduation from a recognized university program in Physiotherapy. Current licensure in a practicing category with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC as a Physiotherapist. Eligible for membership in the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA). Knowledge of current physiotherapy modalities and scope of practice; knowledge of the processes related to continuous quality improvement; knowledge of business management practices related to the operations of hospital services. Five (5) years' recent related experience; experience in rural/remote setting preferred; or equivalent combination of training and experience. Skills And AbilitiesProvide professional and administrative leadership.Demonstrates clinical competence congruent with the service areas.Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, delegate, coordinate and evaluate services.Establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, staff, other health care providers, community agencies and the public.Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.Ability to deal with others effectively.Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.Ability to operate related equipment.
