Digital Architect Back to All Jobs [social_share] This is an EXCLUSIVE opportunity for our client who requires an architect to take over projects to lead solution architecture, guide teams in design, implementation, vision and architecture artifacts for solution delivery of user-centric services. Responsibilities include developing architectural plans, providing recommendations and prototypes for technical discovery and feasibility, ensuring target architecture is creating, leveraging common components and capabilities of other digital services. This includes providing mentorship to the product team, reviewing code changes and engaging in continuous improvement. Work is remote. Edmonton, Alberta (Remote within Canada) Mandatory Requirements Experience in leading solution architecture and introducing the overall architecture vision for one or more large-scale custom-build solutions. Must have experience with the Tech Stacks below: Frontend: Vue.js, TypeScript, Backend: Node.js Database: PostgreSQL, Cosmo DB Experience with Oracle for the legacy DB and data migration Deployment experience with Azure Desirable Requirements Experience working as a senior technical resource identifying and advocating technologies and approaches that lead to digital transformation in the public sector context (Social services, Emergency Services/Public safety) Experience working as a software architect designing cloud-native solutions that use development stacks and derivative technologies (e.g., Microsoft .NET, Java, Python), modern web application frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Django, Spring, ASP.NET Core), and/or modern frontend JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, Vue, React) that have been launched or released. Experience working with other architects and/or as part of cross-functional teams to identify efficiencies through common services, reusable components and application programming interfaces (APIs), and contribute to the overall architecture practice designing and implementing application programming interfaces (APIs) and system integrations. Experience uncovering context from systems in technical discovery and navigating projects through environments with substantial dependency on legacy systems.
