Work Schedule:

37.5-hour work week with flexible schedules.Hybrid working environment available after the first year.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, design, execute, and complete Structural Engineering projects ensuring high quality, optimized, and cost-effective delivery.Ensure compliance with safety standards, relevant industry codes, and regulations, including the Ontario Building Code, Handbook of Steel Construction, and Concrete Design Handbook.Provide technical expertise, guidance, training, and mentorship to team members.Act as Project Manager for single discipline projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget.Collaborate with the Project Management Department on multi-disciplinary projects.Prepare proposals, project abstracts, and technical reports.Uphold company values and contribute to building strong client relationships.

Qualifications:

Professional Engineering license with PEO (other provincial registrations are considered an asset).Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or related field.3-5 years of relevant working experience as a Structural Engineer within an Engineering Consulting firm.Industrial, Commercial, and Residential building design experience is an asset.Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Revit, AutoCAD, and SAFI.Strong understanding of structural design principles and related software tools.
