Under the direction and leadership of the Lead Hand, the Carpenter Helper (Construction Worker) is responsible for the assembly of modular units and other modular building components, ensuring work tasks are performed following safety procedures and company policies while ensuring a high level of quality and timeliness.In this position, you also get to assist in the assembly of modular building components, including floors, walls, and roofsJob Responsibilities: Assist in the installation of sheeting materials, including subfloors, wall sheeting, and roofing sheeting using various materialsAssist in the assembly of doors, windows, trim, and millwork, including the hardware and paintingGather material needed for assembly of units, Installation of small finishing itemsPre-assembly of components, read and interpret blueprintsUse hand and power tools safely Other duties as assignedWho You Are: A team player and a safe worker, who can safely handle materials and operate hand and power tools Residential carpentry experience with basic communication skills.Previous experience with the assembly of modular units is considered an assetAbility to lift lbs unassisted and lbs overheadCapability to stand, crouch and kneel for long periods of time What We Offer:Hourly rate $ - $ and benefitsIndoor Manufacturing facility with work life balance.Monday – Friday, hours per day, Day shift.A fun, dynamic, inclusive, and hardworking teamContinuous learning and growth opportunitiesWho we Are:ATCO Structures is a worldwide leader in modular design, manufacturing, and construction.
