Head Cosmetician

Description The head cosmetician plans, organizes and controls the operational activities and human resources of the cosmetics department. Responsibilities: Ensure exemplary customer service for the cosmetics department Set and achieve sales goals Plan, organize and control the operations of the cosmetics department Manage purchases and sales Manage the cosmetics team Make contact with customers and ask questions to identify their needs Apply makeup and conduct events/presentations Organize sales activities Perform customer transactions Recruit and select experienced cosmeticians, oversee the training of cosmeticians Provide leadership and promote best practices in performance management to all cosmeticians Ensure good communications with the managers and pharmacists of the stores Requisite skills and knowledge: A diploma in aesthetics, cosmetology or business management is an asset Good knowledge of cosmetics products and services 3 to 5 years experience in management, sales, retail or related field, is an asset Excellent organization, planning and time management skills Strong skills for coaching and mentoring Excellent customer service and communication skills Good knowledge of new trends Good knowledge of both French and English Education : High School Diploma (DES) - Completed Experience : 1 to 2 years experience French Language : Very good knowledge English Language : No knowledge About Brunet Established in 1855, Brunet’s engagement is to provide Quebecers with personalized advice and services related to their health.
