We are currently requesting resumes for the following position: SAP Supply Chain Functional Lead Resume Due Date: Monday, August 25, (5:00PM EST) Number of Vacancies: 1 Level: Senior Duration: 24 Months Hours of work: 35 Hours per week Location: University Ave, Toronto – CHQ Work Mode: Hybrid 2 days remote Job Overview As an SAP Supply Chain Functional Lead at our client, you will play a mission-critical leadership role in the design, delivery, and optimization of SAP Supply Chain Management (SCM) solutions. You will lead a team of consultants and analysts, collaborating with business stakeholders, architects, and technical teams to ensure that supply chain processes are effectively enabled and optimized within the SAP landscape. Your expertise and guidance will drive operational excellence, compliance, and business value as part of our client’s Strategic Transformation Roadmap (STR). Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Solution Delivery: Lead the end-to-end design, configuration, and deployment of SAP SCM modules (MM, SD, PP, WM, EWM, Ariba, etc.), ensuring alignment with business objectives and best practices. Provide functional leadership and mentorship to a team of supply chain consultants and analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment. Take ownership of supply chain workstreams, managing deliverables, timelines, and quality standards. Serve as the primary point of contact for supply chain solution design, issue resolution, and escalation. Business Process Optimization & Stakeholder Engagement: Analyze and translate complex business requirements into SAP-enabled solutions, ensuring robust process alignment and integration with other enterprise systems. Conduct fit-gap analysis, process mapping, and solution prototyping to drive continuous improvement in supply chain operations. Facilitate workshops, training, and knowledge transfer sessions for end users and business process owners. Ensure supply chain processes adhere to internal controls, regulatory requirements, and our client governance standards. Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify transformation opportunities and ensure measurable value delivery. Project Management & Agile Delivery: Work closely with project managers, scrum masters, and cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of supply chain workstreams. Participate in agile ceremonies, project planning, and continuous improvement initiatives. Support testing, defect resolution, and cutover planning for SAP SCM modules. Track and report on progress, risks, and issues related to supply chain functional delivery. Continuous Learning & Thought Leadership: Stay current with SAP S/4HANA Supply Chain innovations, industry trends, and emerging technologies. Share insights, best practices, and lessons learned within the SAP and our client supply chain communities. Demonstrate initiative and a self-driven attitude in identifying opportunities for process improvement and driving project success. Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field. 8+ years of experience in SAP Supply Chain (MM, SD, PP, WM, EWM, or Ariba) functional consulting, including configuration, implementation, and support. Proven experience leading supply chain solution delivery in SAP S/4HANA or ECC environments, with integration to other SAP and third-party systems. Strong understanding of supply chain business processes (procurement, inventory, logistics, planning, order fulfillment, etc.) and regulatory compliance requirements. Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with experience mentoring and guiding functional teams. Experience with SAP Activate methodology and agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. SAP SCM certification(s) are highly desirable. Experience with SAP Fiori, SAP Analytics, and SAP data migration tools is an asset.
