Ardent Mills offers a lucrative benefits program to its employees.Reporting to the Maintenance Manager at the Saskatoon Mill, the Maintenance Journeyman Millwright is responsible for ensuring optimum asset health by maintaining, repairing, inspecting, and modifying equipment in a safe and cost-effective manner. Principal Accountabilities:Perform scheduled and reactive corrective maintenance on facility assetsPerform scheduled preventive and predictive maintenanceParticipate in meetings and training activitiesParticipate in the plant safety programPerform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned including minor mechanical repairsQualifications:Required:Possession of Millwright Journeyman ticketMinimum 2 years experience as a Millwright Journeyman performing PMs and equipment repairsWelding and fabrication abilitiesWorking knowledge of power transmission and precision maintenance methodsBasic knowledge of all industry safety, food safety, and environmental regulations and requirementsKnowledge of the Maintenance Reliability process and Predictive TechnologiesStrong problem solving/trouble shooting skillsGood written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work various shifts and take call backs on off shiftsMust be willing to obtain a Firemans certification for low pressure boiler operationMust be physically capable of wearing a respirator or dust mask when required and adhere to the Ardent Mills Respiratory Policy.Preferred:Machinist (machining) capability is an asset.Physical Requirements and Working Conditions (With or without reasonable accommodation): Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as is required by the operating areas (i.e., safety glasses, protective footwear, hearing protection and, at times, a respirator) Ability to work in a food production facility that operates complex machinery to produce flour and grain related products Heat/cold temperatures are a minor factor Indoor/outdoor environment Dusty environment (Medical certification for respiratory protection will be required)Noisy environment Frequent moving/vibration/ or other motion of equipment/processes Elevated places, to include stairs/ladders Other Considerations: Except where prohibited by law, all offers of employment are conditioned upon successfully passing a pre-employment background checkMust be authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship now and in the future Team members must be clean shaven in order to perform tasks where respiratory protection is required and the use of a respirator (including N-95 dust mask) requires a proper seal for adequate protection.:Competitive Compensation:Hourly - Hourly Plan, 55.76 CAD HourlyBenefits:Chez Ardent Mills, nous offrons un large éventail davantages aux membres de notre équipe et aux membres de leur famille admissibles.
