Visit us today and check out www.novascotia.com to see why more people from across the globe are moving here.About the OpportunityReporting to the Manager or designate, the Stores Clerk A assists with the receiving, organization, distribution, replenishment and tracking of inventories and supplies in support of healthcare throughout the NSH.The Stores Clerk ensures that the principles and practices that guide our work such as the mission, vision, values, expected behaviours, the leadership philosophy, organizational health, population health, ethics, safety, quality, partnerships and inter professional collaboration are integrated within the services they provide and through the messages they deliver.As a Stores clerk, this job incorporates a number of duties including: loading, unloading trucks, shipping, receiving, distributing supplies, ordering, replenishing, handling equipment and other materials procured for NSH as stock or non-stock. Provide exceptional customer service by responding to any urgent requests or general inquiries and enhance end users supply chain service.The Stores Clerk will also be responsible for operating and maintaining equipment, e.g. electric pallet jacks, manual pallet jacks, delivery carts etc. Keeping the work area& dock clean at all times.
