Senior Software Engineer, Agent Platform

About the Role Key Responsibilities:Build and Maintain frameworks and services which support the delivery of Workday Agents.Identify pain-points in the Developer Experience, both internal and external, propose and implement solutions.Improve CI/CD and testing workflows and pipelines.Build tools for interacting with development environments.Architect new, and simplify old authentication schemes for agents.Integrate the agent platform with legacy systems.Improve agent observability, debugging, test frameworks.DocumentationAbout YouA generalist/backend Senior Software Development Engineer who wants to work on the underlying frameworks and libraries used to build LLM agents at Workday. No ML experience required.Basic Qualifications:6+ years of experience in software engineering in a modern programming language such as, but not limited to: Typescript, Rust, Go, Python, etc.Other QualificationsExperience with LLM Agent frameworks such as LanggraphExperience with LLM Agent Protocols such as MCP and A2AExperience with OAuth authentication schemesWorkday Pay Transparency Statement The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
