If you are a compassionate, motivated, and organized professional looking for purpose-driven work, we want to hear from you.HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT🎯Assessment: Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to conduct comprehensive formulations and assessments of youth, identifying needs and developing individualized treatment plans.Therapeutic Services: Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual, family, and group therapy, to support youth and their families.Crisis Intervention: Effectively address crises, ensuring youth safety and well-being through de-escalation techniques and supportive interventions.Skill Development: Facilitate life skills and coping skills training to assist residents in managing challenges and preparing for successful reintegration into the community.Support and Advocacy: Help youth and families navigate healthcare and community resources, advocating for their needs and rights within the community and the treatment program.Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including medical staff, psychologists, and other therapists, to provide comprehensive care. Actively participate in designing and implementing individualized, goal-oriented treatment programs for each child and their family.Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely records of therapeutic sessions, progress notes, and treatment plans in accordance with legal and ethical standards.Community Engagement: Participate in community education initiatives to promote mental health awareness and highlight the benefits of live-in treatment programsPerform other duties as assigned. WHAT YOU WILL BRING🎓Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) is required. Registration with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW).Experience in Live-In Treatment settings is considered a strong asset.Highly developed psychosocial assessment skills. Demonstrated clinical skills in providing planning, therapy, and counseling support to individuals and families.Proven ability to identify and address barriers to discharge and available supports.Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple complex cases.Ability to work effectively with diverse populations in a live-in environment.Demonstrated conflict resolution skills. Commitment to ongoing professional development and excellence in practice. Excellent decision-making, problem recognition, and problem-solving abilities.
