As a trusted advisor, you’ll use cutting-edge technology to deliver a full suite of services, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, financial reporting and payroll administration.  MNP is proudly Canadian. Entrepreneurial to our core, our talented team members transcend obstacles into opportunities and are successfully transforming mid-market business practices.  Responsibilities Execute implementations and convert client files from desktop applications (e.g., QuickBooks Desktop, Sage 50) to cloud accounting applications (e.g., QBO, Xero, Sage Business Cloud) Support chart of accounts mapping from the legacy system to the new application Identify data quality issues and errors, investigate discrepancies and discuss with onboarding team to develop resolutions  Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve MNP’s cloud accounting integration methodology  Work collaboratively with the ease Onboarding team to meet client requirements Monitor and manage support request inboxes  Skills and Experience  Accounting certificate or a bachelor’s degree in commerce or business administration (accounting, finance or management information systems (MIS) major is considered an asset) Experience executing accounting system implementations; conversion experience moving from desktop-based products to cloud applications is preferred Knowledge of the bookkeeping process Experience working with desktop-based small business accounting packages, including QuickBooks Desktop, Sage 50 and/or other legacy desktop products Experience working with cloud-based accounting packages is considered an asset (e.g., QBO, Xero, Sage Business Cloud) Advanced experience in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Image editing software (i.e., GIMP, Snag It) Bilingual (English and French) would be an asset
