We also cross-sell the full range of wholesale products and services offered by the Scotiabank Group.   Be part of an innovative, Global Capital Markets and Investment Banking business with a unique geographic footprint that puts capital to work for our clients across industries  We work together to drive ambition for every future  Purpose:The Analyst, Retail Foreign Exchange & Precious Metals executes FX and Precious Metals transactions and manages pricing for Scotiabank Retail branches across Canada and the Caribbean while delivering superior customer interactions.   As a Subject Matter Expert, the successful candidate will be relied upon to work closely with branch employees as well as internal and external business partners to provide FX and Precious Metals related advice.  What You'll Do:Price and book FX and Precious Metals transactions over the phone for Scotiabank Retail branchesPrepare and provide data & analytics for strategic insights and recommendationsAssist in managing and maintaining FX and Precious Metals pricing for the Canadian and Caribbean BranchesProvide Branches with support and appropriate solutions to various client requirementsInvestigate unsettled and outstanding transactions done by BranchesManage FX and Precious Metals requests through various technologiesProactively look for opportunities to drive excellent customer experiencesAct as a product and subject matter expertProtect the Bank from loss and/or exposure to unnecessary risks through strict compliance with applicable acts, policies and regulations as applicableWhat You'll Bring:Undergraduate degree, preferably in finance or a Quantitative fieldProfessional designations such as MBA, CFA, CA, CPA or CFP would be an assetStrong skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Power BIExperience in Data Analytics and building models Programming skills (Macros, VBA, Python, etc.) Experience in a customer-facing role in a team-based environment is preferredStrong relationship builder who has a proven track record of collaborating with othersHighly motivated self-starter with exceptional attention to detailAbility to quickly and effectively respond to enquiries with confidenceAccuracy, timely processing and attention to detail is criticalBilingual in English and French would be an asset Work Arrangement:This position is currently an onsite role, with the expectation that you will work 5 days a week in the office.
