Are you ready to take ownership of complex carrier and ISP governance, driving performance and compliance in a highly regulated environment?Long View Systems is seeking an experienced Vendor Manager (Network & Telecommunications) based out of our Edmonton Branch to support a large, regulated enterprise client. This role is responsible for end-to-end governance of carrier, ISP, and telecommunications vendors, including contract transitions, SLA management, escalation, commercial optimization, and lifecycle coordination across WAN, fiber, telephony, and circuit services.The Vendor Manager acts as the single point of accountability between the client, Long View, carriers, and internal delivery teams, ensuring operational continuity, financial transparency, and alignment with contractual and regulatory requirements. The role requires someone with a bias for action and accountability.A Day in the Life:Act as the primary liaison between our client, Long View, and telecom vendors, ensuring seamless communication and accountabilityManage carrier relationships and contracts administered by Long View on our client's behalfOversee contract transitions, renewals, and vendor onboarding/offboarding in compliance with regulatory requirementsMaintain vendor accountability for SLA performance, escalation handling, and service restorationOwn lifecycle management of circuits and telephony services, including adds, changes, and decommissioningKeep accurate inventory of circuits, services, and dependencies across WAN, fiber, and voice platformsPartner with Network Operations and Service Transition teams to support provisioning, incident resolution, and change executionAnalyze carrier pricing models and contract terms to secure best-in-market pricing and identify cost optimization opportunitiesValidate carrier invoices, resolve billing discrepancies, and support clean chargeback/rebill processes with Finance and ProcurementMonitor SLA performance, lead escalations during service-impacting events, and enforce contractual remedies where applicableProduce operational and executive-level reporting on vendor performance, cost trends, risks, and optimization opportunitiesWhat You Bring:7+ years experience in telecommunications, ISP, or network vendor management, preferably in a regulated or enterprise environmentStrong understanding of carrier contracts, SLAs, pricing models, and circuit provisioningUnderstanding of service coordination for move, adds and changesDemonstrated experience supporting commercial negotiations or renewals with ISPs or telecom providersProven ability to manage escalations and multi-vendor environmentsStrong financial and analytical skills with the ability to interpret pricing, contracts, and invoicesWhat Makes You Extra Awesome:Experience supporting utilities, energy, or other regulated industriesKnowledge of Teams Voice, Call Centre as a Service, and unified communications platformsBackground in carrier repatriation or contract transition initiativesAbility to execute changes via web portals with reduced customer service levelsUnderstanding of enterprise grade access technologies and servicesWhy Work at Long View:Comprehensive benefits package from day oneCareer growth – Permanent staff positions, paid training, career life planning, and relocation and travel opportunitiesInteresting work – Be part of exciting projects while accessing all the latest technologiesGreat people and culture RSP Plan $92,520 - $121,438 a yearExpected Base Salary Range
