High School CounsellorApplications are invited for the position of High School Counsellor at a variety of schools within Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools. Applications are welcome for full time, continuing positions, commencing the start of the 2026-2027 school year.The school counsellor provides individual and group counselling to students to support growth and development in the areas of personal/social, academics and career development.The counsellor's work, in conjunction with our dedicated team of professional and support staff, to create a positive faith-filled learning environment for all students. Successful candidates will:Hold a Professional A Saskatchewan Teaching CertificateBe committed to supporting and integrating Catholic virtues into their teaching and classroom environmentPossess a Master's Degree in one of these areas: Guidance and Career Counselling, Educational Psychology, Counselling Psychology, School Psychology or possess a Post Certificate Degree in Career and Guidance StudiesHave experience in counsellingPreference will be given to candidates who:Possess an understanding of Indigenous counselling perspectivesDemonstrate flexibility to prioritize to the emerging social emotional needs of studentsHave an understanding of First Nations, M�tis and Inuit World ViewDemonstrate commitment to diversity and inclusionCollaborate and contribute within a responsive teamPossess excellent communication and interpersonal skillsGreater Saskatoon Catholic Schools is committed to achieving and maintaining a workforce, which reflects and affirms the diversity of our school division.
