We are looking for a temporary Cleaner to join our Residential team in St. John's, NL. Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will be critical to our delivery of world-class customer service in our buildings that depicts pride of ownership and respect for our residents. While following our Health and Safety precautions, our cleaners clean vacant suites, as well as provide regular cleaning of common areas of buildings thus allowing us to deliver on our promises to our residents to have a safe and clean home in which to live. Responsibilities: Cleaning common areas, vacant and renovated suitesCleaning includes but is not limited to:dustingvacuuming and steam cleaning carpets and area rugsdisinfecting & polishing kitchen and bathroom fixtures and applianceswashing walls, windows, window coverings and ceilingscleaning cupboards and cabinetsMaintaining a trash and debris-free environmentMay include carpet cleaning using industrial cleaners or chemical treatmentsOther duties relating to upkeep of buildings as assigned Qualifications: A self-motivated individual who can work independently and takes pride in their workPrevious experience working in environments that can be very dirtyExcellent customer service skillsAble to lift 30lbs, work with industrial strength cleaners and climb stairs with equipment and suppliesA driver's license and reliable transportationAble to provide a criminal record check that is free of relevant convictionsAble to work overtime or on call as needed If your background matches the qualifications listed above and you are looking for an opportunity to make a difference in the communities we serve, please submit your resume in confidence. Please note, only those candidates chosen to continue through the selection process will be contacted.
