Salary Details The salary range for this position is CAD $35.27/Hr. - CAD $44.05/Hr. Job Summary Come work as a Cardiology Technologist with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH)Vancouver Coastal Health is looking for a Cardiology Technologist to join the Electrocardiology (ECG) team at Lions Gate Hospital in North Vancouver, BC. Apply today to join our teamAs a Cardiology Technologist you will:Conducts various cardiac diagnostic tests such as Electrocardiogram (ECG), standard and nuclear stress testing, and Holter monitoring.Analyzes results and summarizes for interpretation by medical staff in an urgent/emergent care environment. Qualifications Education & ExperienceDiploma in Cardiology Technology plus one (1) year's recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.Successful completion of the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologist (CSCT) certification exam.Eligible for membership with the Cardiology Technologist Association of British Columbia (CTABC).Knowledge & AbilitiesAbility to keep abreast of current professional standards and technical knowledge.Demonstrated ability to perform duties accurately and maintain quality standards.Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.Ability to operate related equipment.Ability to organize work.Ability to work in a team environment.General knowledge of Trauma Informed Practice and Harm Reduction approaches and Strengths-based care.Demonstrated ability to promote Indigenous Cultural Safety.Demonstrated ability to provide competent and culturally safe care in a variety of settings and with diverse populations.Physical ability to perform duties of the position.
