Job DescriptionAccountabilities:Apply principles of sterile technique and clean procedures in daily activitiesKnowledge of the cleaning and sterilizing of endoscopesAssist clinical team during procedures where appropriateResponsible for the cleaning and reprocessing of instrumentationOperating sterilizers, washers, pasteurizer and other Medical Device Reprocessing Department (MDRD) equipmentMonitor supplies, replace stock, case picking, keeping work area tidyother duties as assignedQualificationsMinimum grade 12 or equivalentSuccessful completion of community college sterile supply processing certificate requiredMinimum of two years previous experience in a MDRD role requiredCSAO membership an assetMust be able to speak, read and write English fluentlyGeneral knowledge of computers requiredExcellent interpersonal skillsAble to function independentlyAble to prioritize in a very active environmentMust demonstrate Osler's Values of Respect, Excellence, Service, Compassion, Innovation and CollaborationExcellent attendance, punctuality and work recordMay be required to travel between and work at all Osler sitesAdditional InformationDURATION: Approximately six (6) months or until the previous incumbent returns.Currently Evenings/Nights 8 hours including weekends and statutory holidays (subject to change in accordance with operational requirements)Salary: Minimum: $29.44 per hour Maximum: $30.13 per hour#LI-WD1#TPTInternal application deadline: November 7, 2025External application deadline: December 14, 2025Osler values inclusivity and diversity in the workplace.
