With guidance from a departmental leader you will work on the GoScripts product. The right candidate for our internship will be expected to know commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the Software Development process and rely on mentorship, instructions, and pre-established guidelines to perform the job's functions. This is preferred to be a hybrid role located at our Resmed headquarters in Bedford, Nova Scotia, Canada. Candidates will be asked to be available to participate in both on-site and remote team meetings.Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status. Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience): Ability to work full-time for 12 weeks during Summer 2025; program dates are May 18th – August 7th, 2026, OR June 15th – September 4th, 2026; potential to start early on May 4th, 2026Academic studies that will lead to a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Software Engineering or any related field) Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skillsStrong object-oriented design and programming skillsExperience in Java, Python, or C#, targeting multiple platforms (e.g. Windows, Linux) and application types (e.g. console, website, REST APIs)Experience with front-end JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React) and web servers (e.g. Apache, Nginx, IIS).Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Strong experiences as demonstrated through projects, research or Software Engineering internships Great interpersonal relations, team cooperation and communication skills.
