Position Summary The Physiotherapist is responsible for the caseload of outpatient and inpatient program. Qualifications • Master’s degree in Physical Therapy with evidence of ongoing professional development required. • Current registration with the Ontario College of Physiotherapy required. • Eligible for membership with the Canadian Physiotherapy Association required. • 1-3 years experience working with patients of various ages with neurological and orthopaedic diagnosis in the acute and rehabilitation phases of assessment and treatment required. • Demonstrated ability to function collaboratively and effectively within an interdisciplinary team and with community partners. • Proven ability to prioritize and organize caseload to deal effectively and efficiently with competing demands. • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office software applications and excellent keyboarding skills. • Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills. • Demonstrated superior organizational and time management skills. • Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize and multi task efficiently. • Demonstrated ability in conflict management. • Demonstrated good interpersonal skills. • Demonstrates commitment to continued professional and personal growth and development through Continuing Education Programs and Self Directed Learning Opportunities. • Satisfactory work performance and attendance record required • The successful candidate will have a proven commitment to professional development as well as to the Mission and Vision of the Hospital.
