Associate Advisor

Job DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?The RBC Dominion Securities branch located in Coquitlam is seeking an Associate Advisor to join a successful Advisory Team.  You will deepen client relationships by offering sound advice and support to clients and to the Investment Advisor. Identifying and assisting growth of new business opportunities will also be key.What will you do? Coordinate meetings and events for the Investment Advisor with clients and prospects: help determine agenda and key topics, prepare documentation, execute post-meeting work.Provide proactive client service with a problem-resolution focus and attention to details.Respond to client account inquiries and remain accountable to follow-up, as required.Identify and execute opportunities among existing client base for asset consolidation, referrals, etc.Co-manage client acquisition pipeline (prospects / leads); work with advisory team to close new opportunities.Deepen existing relationships with Centers of Influence (COIs) through ongoing management.Trading and / or Portfolio RebalancingConduct ongoing research on markets and investments, provide regular updates to the advisory team.Support advisory team and client through the Wealth Management process.
