Provide packaging of customer purchases, and carry out service of purchases in an efficient, professional manner.3. Process customer transactions on the point of sales system when necessary, achieving and maintaining a checkout speed of 35 items per minute.4. To be dependable for all scheduled shifts.5. Provide customer service to the “Hassle Free Guarantee” standards and ensure customers are handled in a prompt, friendly and efficient manner.6. To perform housekeeping duties, including but not limited to cleaning, filling and facing shelves as per merchandising standards. 7. To assist with inventory counts as assigned and unloading trucks.8. To operate and maintain equipment in a safe and responsible manner.9. To adhere to all Southland Co-op policies and procedures.10. To adhere to company loss prevention, security, and safety policies and procedures. Be alert to the unauthorized removal of merchandise and alert the supervisor of any occurrence.11. To deliver customer orders as needed. Requirements Positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, outgoing and energetic personality.Excellent customer service skills.Able to work a variety of shifts, including mornings and weekends.Willingness to further knowledge through training.Physically able to do heavy lifting.A desire and ability to work with the public.A driver’s license is an asset.Reports to Assistant Grocery Manager
