We are currently hiring for a Production associate in the Milton area PositionProduction Associates Location MILTON, ONTARIO Shift 8:30AM-5PM Mon-FriPay Rate $23/hr one of North America's leading conveyor belt fabricators with an install base of conveyor belting and roller solutionsKeys to filling:- 3 years experience in a manual production role within a manufacturing environment - Warehouse experience will not be considered. - -Comfortable lifting 50lbs - Working with machine equipment any machine not picky with machine exp – someone mechanically inclined- Very detail oriented- Good work attitude and willingness to do multiple tasks Working Conditions - Hot environment- Dirty because its manufacturing - Loud from the machines running Job Description:The Production Associate is a skilled, organized and energetic individual capable of assembling belts and belt assemblies, rollers, as need by the company, partially or completely, working at a bench or on the shop floor while observing all posted Safety Rules, as directed by your supervisor or manager. Duties and Responsibilities: • Assembly of conveyor belts• Belt install• Feeding products into the machine • Must be mechanically inclined• Using hand an power tools• Wear the appropriate protection to perform the task at hand by referencing the appropriate Material Safety Sheet for the protection information recommended for the glues, solvents, coatings etc. that are being used. • Keep and maintain the cleanliness of your work area and perform a 10 minute clean-up at the end of each day. Clean up the temporary area where you were working before leaving that area. Clean out the company trucks on your arrival back from Installs, pickups or deliveries etc. • Must participate in the annual On-Line Health & Safety Training. There are 10-12 Courses to complete either at home or during work hours. All employees undergo this training at the same time, generally in the fall of each year. One month time frame is given to complete all, with each course taking ½ hr. to 1 hr. and needing an 80% minimum pass score. • Being at your job every day and performing your job to the best of your abilities, with a positive attitude; is a daily expectation in an effort to be not only the best employee you can be but to achieve a positive annual employee review. • Other duties as warranted. Qualifications:• OSSD or equivalency • Must have 1-3 years’ manual production experience, ideally in the Manufacturing environment • A driver’s license with a clean driving record is required• Must be mechanically inclined with crafty attention to detail• Strong communication, presentation, organizational and leadership skills • Effective use of technology, instruments, tools and information systems • Strong problem solving, conflict resolution, teamwork, time management and interpersonal skills if you have the experience we are looking for and are interested forward resume to Jaylene
