Then, watch for a unique link in your email to apply.Job ResponsibilitiesThe Analyst, Investment Finance & Valuations will have various duties during his/her work term which will include:Assist with preparation of internal investment valuations, portfolio summary schedules and presentations as part of the quarterly valuation process;Help maintain and update excel-based financial models;Review and perform variance analysis on financial data;Assist in market research, maintaining market data and providing summary reports;Prepare valuation documentation for internal / external audit purposes;Assist with the development of budgets and forecasts;Working closely with other members of the Valuation team in order to ensure accuracy and completeness of analyses and documentation; andParticipate in special projects or duties, as required.You should apply if:Working towards a business degree in Accounting or Finance;Interest in pursuing a CBV designation is a plus;General knowledge of financial and valuation analysis (i.e. financial statements, valuation methodologies, etc.);Attention to detail;Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced level);Working knowledge of Capital IQ is a plus;Excellent analytical, quantitative and problem solving skills;Strong written and verbal communication skills;Ability to perform under time pressure and respond to unexpected events or circumstances; Works on improving own knowledge, skills and aptitudes; andA strong team player able to operate in a fast-paced environment with numerous priorities and deadlines with effective organization time management skills.What's in it for youWork with high-performing and collaborative teams across OMERSOpportunity to learn about various asset classes (infrastructure, private equity, growth equity, ventures) and sectorsOpportunity to be part of the student community at OMERS & OxfordAn orientation program to set you up for success during you work termNetworking and educational session with different leaders across the businessIMPORTANT: Application Instructions:To ensure your application is submitted to our applicant tracking system accurately, please follow the instructions below.Please include required documents (Resume, Cover Letter, Unofficial Transcript, etc.) in one combined file.
