The ideal candidate is a highly versatile investment professional who is inquisitive, resourceful, and proactive. We are looking for a professional with private equity investing or corporate M&A experience and strong analytical acumen.   Main Responsibilities Contribute to and assist in executing the firm’s private markets investment strategy Analyze and prepare investment recommendations primarily for Fund opportunities (and from time to time, Direct and Co-investment opportunities), delineating merits and risks Develop tools, databases, and financial and valuation models to assist in the investment process Analyze market conditions and private equity trends to assist in formulating timely and appropriate investment strategies and recommendations Conduct comprehensive research and analysis on potential investments and conduct due diligence, including financial, tax, legal, and accounting Assist in evaluating specific investment opportunities in diverse sectors, geographies, and strategies Ensure compliance with investment agreements Maintain relationships with relevant staff of external partners and the investment community Responsible for investments monitoring and performance reporting Responsible for the Quarterly investment report preparation and related research The candidate’s responsibilities will also include assisting the Public Markets investment team, primarily in performing market and sector research for developing macro/ETF investment recommendations for internally managed public equity investments.   Required Qualifications Education Strong academic credentials, including a bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting CFA, CPA, or CAIA is an asset Professional experience A minimum of 3 years of experience in private markets investing, corporate finance, or M&A Co-investment or direct private equity deal experience would be an asset Skills Extensive knowledge of and ability to conduct financial modeling and business valuations Knowledge of macroeconomics and its influence on investments Reasonable knowledge of the fund manager universe Bilingual – Strong oral and written communication skills Abilities Excellent business analytical skills Solid project management skills Ability to work effectively both independently and with others in a team environment Exemplary work ethics, energetic, and able to self-direct in an entrepreneurial environment Strong, effective, and concise oral and written communication skills   Why Join BRK Capital Dynamic work environment focused on people and collaboration.
