Position SummaryReporting to the Plant Manager and the Technical Process Director, the Process Leader carries out process improvement projects and supports quality and process specialists in advancing their various initiatives. They also provide operational support and ensure that knowledge is documented to enhance process understanding across all departments.Responsibilities Process Improvement ProjectsExecutes process improvement projects aligned with the plant’s strategic planSupports quality and process specialists in the execution of their projectsFacilitates workshops using a DMAIC project management approachAssists in identifying improvement opportunitiesManages change resulting from new methods and practicesOperational SupportImplements new products into productionActs as a technical expert: coaches operations teamsOversees line start-upsParticipates in various operational meetingsProcess Knowledge ManagementManages process knowledge: ensures its documentation, dissemination, and applicationAdministers and uses POKA for instructions and troubleshooting guidesRequirements Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemical Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experienceOver 5 years of relevant professional experienceProven experience with various Lean methodologiesStrong interest in management and leadershipEffective communication skills in both French and English (spoken and written)Availability to cover different work shifts as neededWillingness to travel occasionally
