THE ROLEWe are looking for a Producer to join our Production team for a 1 year maternity leave contract coverage. We are a team of brand thinkers with a deep passion for social because it’s where culture and audience insights take off.You’ll be working alongside an enthusiastic group of talented teammates across multiple departments, supporting key productions for socially-led campaigns, activations, and editorial content. This includes in-office (hybrid) and on-set production duties such as managing full budgets, creating and distributing call sheets, booking equipment, prop purchases, and supporting crew on-set, and more.WE ARE A creative agency powered by social connections. What matters is your deep understanding of what resonates with social audiences. This role is energetic, innovative and forward-thinking. Alongside engaging with communities, you’ll guide brands by staying ahead of social trends and cultural moments. In return, you’ll join a global agency dedicated to generating buzzworthy ideas for some of the world’s leading brands. WHAT YOU’LL DOHelp execute shoots, events and other project work across socially lead campaigns and extending into integrated campaigns.Manage a variety of production types, from quick and nimble organic social content to full productions with external production partners.Work with Client teams and others in the development of ballparks, estimates and production project workflow (timelines, manage external production partners, QA final work ahead of shipping, etc) Day-to-day communication with creatives, accounts and any external crew assigned to projectsEnsure any contracts, releases and invoices are filed and submitted, as well update internal production status documentsWork with the team to ensure that production timelines are being metSupport in crew & vendor outreach during pre-productionCreate and distribute call sheets, shot lists & pre-production booksAssist with any production pick-ups and returns including props, equipment, talent etc.Be an extra pair of hands on-set when neededCollaborate with WAS Project Managers on overlapping projectsWork with Finance and Operations reconciliations REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE3 - 4 years production experience within an agency or production house as a producer Passion for culture, creativity, art, social media, and of course, organisationExperienced in managing projects involving brand content, digital, social, print, video, and events deliverablesKnowledge of line production (able to work with and without a production house)A proactive can-do attitude and works great under tight timelinesProactivity, natural at anticipating challenges and can articulate solutions to relevant people when requiredGood with finances; you understand that effort equals budget-spend and you stay on top of budgets throughout all projects assignedFamiliar with digital/social agency turn-around times and ways of working -- good understanding of the dynamics of agency processes and enjoys the pace and challenges this bringsFull G Drivers License is a mustWHY SHOULD YOU JOIN OUR TEAM?At We Are Social, we don’t just offer a job—we offer a creative career in an agency that moves at the speed of culture.
