The work consists mainly of ensuring compliance with the bicycle safety provisions of road safety laws and regulations and of issuing warnings when basic municipal by-laws are not obeyed.   EXAMPLES OF TASKS PERFORMED Bike-patrols the parks, playgrounds, streets and bike paths throughout the summer. Issues warnings. Assistance with bicycle safety workshops for campers at the day camps. Takes part in various community events, friendly sports tournaments and intergenerational social activities. Performs any other related tasks.   SCOPE The tasks of the job require an exact order of execution. The employee has no possibility of planning or of organizing his activities, they are predetermined in advance.
