The Nursing Supervisor is responsible for facilitating the clinical, educational and professional development of our Visiting and Clinic Nurses. This position involves an on call rotation. By joining Spectrum Health Care you will be part of one of Canada’s Best Managed companies and a committed member of a team of highly skilled healthcare professionals.Job DescriptionProvide clinical nurse leadership and direction, ensuring patient care meets professional nursing standards and organizational policiesManage staffing levels, conduct performance evaluations, and participate in orientation of new staffPerform supervisory visits and case reviews to maintain quality of care and appropriate service frequencyCollaborate with patients and nursing team to identify health care needs, strengths, and goalsAct as a professional role model and mentor, demonstrating clinical expertise and ongoing professional developmentQualificationsCurrent CNO registration as Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing, degree preferredValid G driver's license and access to a reliable vehicleMinimum of three (3) years of recent experience with progressive responsibilities as a Nursing Supervisor/Manager, preferably in a community settingSolid knowledge of the principles, practices, and methods of community nursing and service delivery to patientsCurrent CPR certification#Peel_MngrAdditional InformationThis position is a current vacancySpectrum Health Care is thrilled to be named one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies.
