If you are experienced in Quality Control Inspections, this may be an opportunity for youMinimum Requirements:Eight years of oil and gas work experienceCWB Level 2 Welding Inspector CertificationAPI 570, API 510 InspectorFunctional understanding of ASME and CSA inspection codes as well as ABSA, API, NACE codes and recommended practicesWorking knowledge of non- destructive testing methodologyProficiency in Microsoft products including Word, Excel, PowerPointA High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)Valid driver’s licence and a clean driving recordKey Responsibilities:Participate in all aspects of Integrity Management SystemSupport piping & equipment repairs and alterationsCompliance with applicable codes, standards, and recommended practices as well as planning & engineering scopes of workProvide clear, detailed comprehensive turnover documentation.Ability to co-ordinate a team of quality control inspectors based on workload and plant prioritiesProvides informal performance coaching of team membersResponds to confidential and sensitive customer queries and collaborates accordingly to provide safe, effective and efficient resultsLocation and other key details:You will work out of our Syncrude Mildred Lake Mine in Fort McMurray, AlbertaThe shift schedule is 5 days on /4 days off, 4 days on/ 5 days off rotation; 12-hour shift, with the potential for extended work hours or on-call duties, based on business needsSafety sensitive positionIf you reside outside of Fort McMurray, relocation of your residence to within 60 km of Fort McMurray is mandatory.
