This role will involve working closely with data owners, business units, and IT teams to ensure that data is properly managed, classified, and maintained. The Data Steward will also implement data policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with internal and external data regulations.Key Responsibilities:Data Governance and Stewardship: Implementation of data governance frameworks, ensuring data is accurate, consistent, and securely managed across the organization. Establish and maintain data stewardship roles and responsibilities within business units and functional areas. Define data standards, policies, and processes for managing data assets, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements Data Quality and Integrity: Oversee data quality initiatives to ensure the accuracy, completeness, consistency, and reliability of key data sets. Monitor and track data quality metrics, and work with teams to resolve data quality issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions. Develop and maintain data dictionaries, glossaries, and metadata repositories to ensure transparency and standardization of key data definitions. Data Lifecycle Management: Manage the lifecycle of critical data elements, including data acquisition, storage, usage, and retirement. Ensure data security and privacy practices are embedded in the management of data assets, aligning with company and regulatory standards. Requirements 10+ years of experience working in Data Governance or Data Management experience within a global CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) company or similar industry.  Strong data management background who understands data, how to ingest data, proper data use/consumption, data quality, and stewardship. Ability to partner with both business and technical subject matter experts to ensure standardization of operational information and execution of enterprise-wide data governance policies and procedures are defined and implemented. Experience working with SQL, Axon, PO, Invoice data, and Accounts Payable.  Experience with SAP (Material and vendor master). Experience with Global Procurement systems like SpendHQ or Ariba MyBuy, Global Procurement (spend data).  Preferred experience working with SAP S/4 HANA and SAP MDG Preferred experience with Informatica (EDC, Axon, IDQ), Intermediate – Advanced Excel Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into data governance solutions.
