Location: Rosedale Centre, 25 Erindale Ave, Hamilton ON L8K 4R2  Total Weekly Hours:  19 hours per week Schedule: Monday to Friday, 2:30 pm  - 6:00 pm Pay Rate (per Collective Agreement, includes wage grants): RECE: $27.94/hr Why Work with Us? Diploma in  Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certifications: Active registration and good standing with the College of ECE Standard First Aid with CPR Level C Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Police Check Proof of  up-to-date immunizations  (TB, Tetanus, MMR) Skills & Knowledge: Familiarity with  How Does Learning Happen?  (an asset) Strong understanding of  child development  and age-appropriate activities. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Characteristics: Ability to work  independently and in a team . Flexibility  and adaptability to changing circumstances. Commitment to  diversity, equity, and inclusion . Key Responsibilities: Plan and implement activities to support children’s  cognitive, physical, social, and emotional development . Ensure the  safety and well-being  of children at all times. Maintain an  engaging and welcoming environment  for children and families. Complete documentation and meet Ministry of Education requirements. Collaborate with  Hamilton Wentworth District School Board faculty .
