Are you a Global Health, Safety, and Environmental Specialist ready to champion worldwide best practices? Lead the standardization and implementation of HSE programs, drive compliance with international regulations, and spearhead projects to achieve global corporate safety and sustainability goals.Location: London, ONOn-site: five days a week (plus travel required 5-6 times/year)Salary: $120K - $130K Advantages- The opportunity to champion global projects to standardize best practices across multiple locations.- The role is key to supporting the continuous improvement of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) programs.- You will be able to influence and approve changes and updates to HSE documentation.- There is access to training and professional development to ensure best practices.- The position involves working with a wide range of external contacts, including regulatory bodies like the Ministry of Labour and Environment Canada, as well as consultants for testing, legal services, and ergonomics.Responsibilities- Act as the HSE liaison for all locations, providing technical expertise to support their tactical HSE programs and plans.- Develop, implement, maintain, monitor, and continuously improve HSE programs.- Oversee specific HSE programs across locations to ensure compliance with corporate policies and applicable country, state/provincial regulatory requirements.- Standardize, evaluate, and improve HSEKPI's and metrics, such as safety indexes, across the organization.- Ensure all locations maintain ISO 14001 registration and assist in modifying related Management System documentation.- Analyze and communicate trends through investigations, audit findings, and corrective actions.Qualifications- Occupational Health & Safety certification.- Minimum of 5 years' experience in manufacturing environments, - Working knowledge of the Ontario Health & Safety Act and Regulations, and ability to keep up to date on all relevant health, safety, and environmental legislation.- Auditor training for ISO 14000 or 18000 systems.- Working knowledge and/or relative training in Environmental legislationSummaryIf you are interested in learning more about this role, please apply directly or email kathryn.oconnor@randstad.ca (with the subject line: Global HSE Specialist - London).Randstad Canada is committed to fostering a workforce reflective of all peoples of Canada.
