Qualifications: A Masters Degree in Social Work or a Master's Degree in a Health-Related Discipline (e.g. Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Psychology).** Candidates with a Bachelors degree in Social Work or related degree, or an extensive work experience in the field/discipline will also be considered. Must be registered and in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) as a Social Worker, or the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). A minimum of 3 years relevant experience working in a mental health setting, is required. Direct experience working with school boards will be considered an asset. Excellent clinical assessment, formulation and treatment planning skills. Experience delivering full model DBT is preferred; at minimum, training and experience in delivering CBT and/or Behavioural models is considered an asset. Experience with providing a broad range of clinical services and demonstrated effective work with a child and adolescent population who present a variety of clinically challenging issues. Computer competency is required for this position. Experience working with diverse cultures is considered an asset for this position. Travel is required for this position (across Simcoe County); the successful candidate must have a valid Ontario drivers license, access to a reliable vehicle and be willing to obtain automobile insurance which includes driving for business purposes with a minimum liability of one million dollars.
