Part Time Security Guard - City Hall 400Position: Part-Time Security Guard  Site: 400 City Hall Square E, Windsor, ON N9A 7K6  Hours: Saturday and Sunday (0030-1230) Payrate: $18.35Internal Posting Date: 12/9/2025 Internal Closing Date: 12/15/2025 External Closing Date: 1/2/2026Key Responsibilities: Be able to comprehend and demonstrate competencies of City of Windsor and the Security policies and procedures with an ability to use a customer service approach Be able to keep an open and objective mind, remembering the city’s diverse community. Assist visitors, and employee during crisis and contact the necessary emergency services as needed Ensure that the property is safe by ensuring all security measures are functioning properly Enthusiastically conducts proactive patrols (exterior and Interior), and be able to address policy breeches, and note facility concerns. Attend and investigate security alarms and emergencies in a timely and professional manner as not to create a panic amongst the public Ability to de-escalate a crisis, provide support and liaise with emergency personnel including; police, fire and paramedic resources. Handle Lost & Found items and inquiries Ability to provide first aid and medical response when required to any person Maintain positive and constructive relationships with The Client’s staff and external clients by providing timely and accurate support as required. Perform duties and tasks assigned by the Security Leadership team and respond to the directions of the client; City of WindsorPerforming other related duties as assigned by the city Prerequisites:   Valid Security License for the province of Ontario   Valid First Aid & CPR Level C from a WSIB approved provider  English (oral and written) fluency is a must    Legally authorized to work in Canada Please be aware: The UOF/MOAB certification is not paid as it is a pre-employment requisite; however, Paladin will cover all the costs of the training with a 6-month commitment to the position/availability   Why choose Paladin?  Opportunities for training and professional development Competitive salary and benefits package. Free Uniforms  Security license reimbursement  Dry cleaning & hemming/tailoring allowance  Daily Pay availableAdditional perks If you’re excited about the opportunity to work with Paladin Security but don’t meet every qualification listed, don’t let that stop you from applying.
