It’s an exciting time to join the team at Hydro One  Job Summary: Join our dynamic Digital Technology Solutions Team as a Co-op Student, contributing to the optimization and efficiency of our IT personnel. As a vital member of the team, you will gain understanding in vendor managment, hands-on experience in process improvements, and communication within a fast-paced IT environment.Job Responsibilities: Assisting team with forecasting and following up with LOB teams on IT vendor renewalsAnalysis of licenses against entitlements in contractsUpdating template with contract information including entitlementsInvoice reconciliation against contractsRunning ReportsIT Vendor Management Mailbox and related 5-year sustainment plansSet up meetings and assist with actions and follow up itemsCompleting templates for requests for procurement and approvalsMonitoring Third Party reports and renewals  Technical Skill Requirements:Proficient in using Excel for data analysis, reporting, and maintaining -related documentation. Experience with Microsoft Power BI is an asset.Proficient with Office 365 including Outlook, Teams and SharePoint is required.Experience with SAP would be a benefitSoft Skill Requirements: Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with team members and project stakeholders.Ability to collaborate within a team environment and contribute to the overall success of the DTS Resource Management Team.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify opportunities for resource optimization. Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.Attention to detail is a mustRequired Education Level:Enrollment in a relevant undergraduate program such as Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or a related field.Additional Qualifications:Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced IT environment.
