Job DescriptionConfidently answer guest questions regarding food, beverages, wine, and other restaurant services as requiredCommunicate effectively with Servers and Hosts to support optimal seating flow and service efficiencyInspect all tables to ensure proper mise en place, cleanliness, and completeness prior to and during serviceMaintain a high level of floor awareness, assisting with clearing and resetting tables as neededMonitor food quality and presentation to ensure standards are consistently upheldOversee the cleanliness of assigned sections, ensuring all materials and service areas are organized and free from clutterDemonstrate thorough knowledge of food safety practices, including causes of food contamination and methods of preventionAdhere to all food safety standards, policies, and procedures at all timesManage cleanliness tasks including emptying garbage, changing linen bags, and properly disposing of waste and recyclingCommunicate guest feedback, requests, or notable information to Servers to support a positive and memorable guest experiencePerform additional duties as assigned to support overall restaurant operationsQualificationsPrevious serving or foodservice experience in a similar environmentSmart Serve Certification requiredStrong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and consistencyAbility to remain calm, professional, and efficient in a fast-paced environmentExcellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectivelyReceptive to direction and able to follow procedures consistentlyStrong oral communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team membersSolid knowledge of food and beverage products to support service excellenceAbility to maintain professional urgency and momentum throughout shiftsReliable transportationLegally eligible to work in CanadaAdditional InformationAI Disclosure To ensure a fair and efficient recruitment process, some aspects of candidate screening may be conducted using AI software.
