In this hybrid role, with one to two days in office per week. You’ll take ownership of key infrastructure components, lead technical projects, and mentor junior engineers while contributing to the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our platform. You’ll work closely with engineering, security, and product teams to deliver solutions that empower developers to build, deploy, and operate software with confidence and speed What You'll DoDesign and implement scalable infrastructure on AWS using infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation, Pulumi, CDK, Ansible, Chef etc.Lead medium-to-large platform initiatives, from planning through execution and delivery.Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or ArgoCD.Improve developer experience by building and enhancing internal platform tools and services.Drive automation to reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency.Mentor intermediate engineers and co-ops, providing guidance through code reviews, design discussions, and technical coaching.Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and postmortems to improve system reliability.Collaborate across teams to align infrastructure and platform capabilities with engineeringneeds.Contribute to platform observability, including monitoring, alerting, and SLO/SLA tracking.Participate in hiring efforts, including technical interviews and onboarding support What You'll Bring5–8 yearsof experience in software engineering, DevOps, or platform engineering rolesStrong hands-on experience withAWSand cloud-native services.Proficiency ininfrastructure-as-code(e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi).Solid experience withCI/CD pipelinesand deployment automation.Strong knowledge ofDockerandKubernetes.Proficiency in scripting languages such asPython,Bash, or similar.Experience withLinux systemsand system-level debugging.Familiarity withobservability tools(e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, CloudWatch).Exposure toAI developer tools(e.g., GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q Dev, Claude, Cursor).Understanding ofsecurity and compliancebest practices (e.g., SOC2, PCI, ISO).Expected Salary: 120,000 -150,000 CADBonus to HaveExperience withmulti-cloud environments(Azure, GCP).Exposure toautonomous workflows,AI agents, orMCPs.Familiarity withcost optimizationin cloud environments.Experience withsecurity and artifact management tools(e.g., Snyk, Mend, JFrog, Wiz).Contributions toopen-source projectsor internal tooling initiatives.OTEL integrations and dashboardsExperience in Kafka, Data pipelines, and any graph technologies such as Neptune etc Benefits at PlanviewAt Planview, you’ll join our global team and culture which reflects the vibrant communities in which our employees live and work.
