Unmatched Value.A place where you can take your career in the direction you want to grow and goStarting Salary: $65,000-$85,000 per annumThe Opportunity:The Power BI Analyst will be responsible for analyzing complex datasets and data flows, as well as designing and developing Power BI reports and dashboards to deliver actionable insights and recommendations to business partners.The Power BI Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven projects and ensure the accuracy of reporting solutions. They will also manage Power BI workspaces, documentation libraries, and collaboration tools such as Confluence and JIRA, designing and developing process automation and data intake solutions by leveraging Power Apps and Power Automate. In addition, they will oversee the ongoing development and maintenance of business intelligence (BI) reporting and analytical solutions.Responsibilities:Reporting and AnalysisDesign, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that clearly communicate data insights to business stakeholders.Write complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from multiple sources.Optimizing Power BI semantic models for scalability and efficient performance.Design, develop and manage Power Automate workflows to streamline reporting processes and leverage Power Apps to create intuitive applications for data entry and management.Ensure data quality and governance by maintaining high standards of data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across all reporting solutions, document business rules and data definitions to support governance and compliance.Partner with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into reporting solutions, and present actionable insights that support data driven decision making.Contribute to BI migration initiatives from legacy systems to new ETRM and SAP ERP platforms and collaborating with technical and business teams to validate migrated data and ensure reporting accuracy.Continuous ImprovementStay updated on Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform, and data visualization best practices.Identify gaps and opportunities for improvement and automate manual reporting processes to optimize workflows and reduce operational costs.Contribute to building and advancing data-driven culture across the commercial division.Education:•    Post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Data Analytics would be an asset, however relevant experience or education would also be considered.Requirements:•    Minimum 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.•    Experience in creating dashboards and reports using Power BI and validating results with business stakeholders.•    Ability to query data and draft reports using Power Query (M), DAX, and SQL are mandatory.•    Proficiency in developing solutions using Power Platform (Power Automate & Power Apps) for process improvement and efficiency.     •    Experience in creating and managing dataflows to support scalable and efficient data integration.•    Experience in using Confluence as a documentation library for knowledge sharing and collaboration.•    Experience in working with JIRA or similar project management tools.•    Strong written and verbal communication skills along with the ability to work well in cross-functional teams.•    Ability to adjust to changing and conflicting demands, responsibilities, and issues.•    Understanding of Agile methodology, project management principles and emerging AI technologies.•    The ideal candidate should be flexible and willing to travel as part of their role.Preferred qualifications:•    Experience with Python, R, and Databricks•    Experience in the oil and gas industry.•    Experience working with ETRM and ERP Systems (Right Angle & SAP)Humble.
