YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:Reporting to the Procurement Supervisor, you will be part of the Procurement Department. This role is specifically designed to develop the successful candidate into a Purchasing or Strategic Sourcing professional, supporting a long-term career at Agnico Eagle. You will support operational excellence, safety, and continuous improvement while learning and growing in a dynamic mining environment.Assist with daily procurement tasks, including purchase order creation, contract administration and supplier communications. Support the development, implementation and review of procurement policies and procedures. Collaborate with operations, finance and other related teams to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of goods and services. Participate in supplier evaluations, negotiations and performance reviews. Contribute to compliance with company standards, regulatory requirements and ethical sourcing practices. Participate in safety initiatives and promote a culture of safety and responsibility. Contribute to environmental stewardship and compliance efforts. Engage in continuous improvement projects and support technology adoption. Learn to use IT management related software and tools. Take part in training and development opportunities to build your technical and leadership skills. Benefit from mentorship and guidance to progress towards professional Supply Chain related certification. WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEEDBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Commerce or a related field (graduated within the last 2 years or soon to graduate). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communicator and team player. Eager to learn, adapt, and contribute in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to safety, environmental responsibility, and Agnico Eagle’s values. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
