INSTRUMENTATION JOURNEYPERSONS PTW is hiring Instrumentation Journeypersons to join our team in Brooks, AB If you are a certified Instrumentation Journeyperson, we want to hear from you We welcome out-of-town talent, with relocation assistance available for the successful candidate. A DAY IN THE LIFE… Perform maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of instrumentation and control systems in oil and gas production and processing facilities. Work with transmitters, control valves, actuators, analyzers, PLCs, and field instrumentation. Support commissioning and start-up of new or upgraded facilities. Read and interpret P&IDs, loop drawings, and technical manuals. Collaborate with electricians, operators, and other trades to maintain safe, reliable operations. Maintain accurate records and follow all PTW safety and quality procedures. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Must possess maintenance and industrial oil field instrumentation experience. Must be a certified Journeyman Instrumentation Technician Must be able to take initiative, work independently as well as in a team. Must be reliable and dependable (i.e.: punctual and ready to work). Commissioning and start up experience is an asset Excellent communication skills. A demonstrated ability to work safely. Must be local to the area or within driving distance TICKETS REQUIREMENTS Must have applicable safety tickets (i.e. CSTS-09, H2S Alive, Standard First Aid, Fall Arrest, WHMIS 2015) Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
