Maintenance Technician I-25002359DescriptionLinde Gas & Equipment Inc.Maintenance TechnicianLocation: Phoenix, AZLinde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our teamWhat we offer youCompetitive compensationComprehensive benefits plan (medical, dental, vision and more)401(k) retirement savings planPaid time off (vacation, holidays, PTO)Employee discount programsCareer growth opportunitiesAdditional compensation may vary depending on the position and organizational levelWhat you will be doing:Maintains, troubleshoots, repairs or supervises repairs as needed process piping and controls equipment systems and components.Follows procedures, written manuals and actively executes scheduled work orders.Evaluates process equipment for problem identification and recommends and/or implements solutions.Reliability of the equipment is critical to success.Cleans and maintains plant areas and equipment regularly to promote organization and reliability.Performs all duties safely, to include operating a company vehicle.Other duties as assignedQualificationsWhat makes you great:HS Degree or EquivalentTechnical degree or certification desiredAbility to work in a high-performance work system with minimal to no supervisionFive or more years work experience or equivalent combination of formal education/training and experience to include applicable military training/experienceExposure to industrial DCS or PLC systems and the ability to learn about these systems.PLC experience is a plus.Familiar with test equipment and ability to creatively troubleshoot complex systemsFamiliar with pressurized systems, valves, piping systems and their operation.Ability to read and follow SDS SheetsValid Drivers LicenseAbility to read printed maintenance manuals and other literature in English is requiredExcellent Customer Service Skills are required.Must have the ability to keep the customer informed of system status (verbally and in writing).This role requires access to information and products subject to export control laws (ITAR/EAR).
